Hey this ol Hippie I'm looking for better idels on building a better controler i went down and got motor speed controler from Harbor freight it lasted about a day the it fryed that why i call my trike sparkey so if some one got a bettery idel thank for your time The Hippie Peace

Wow, I didn't know that HF carried speed controllers? How much did it cost you?

I'd like to take a look at one of them and see if they can be beefed up to handle more current.

Why

hi this ol hippie I made this trike. so a big ol hippie could ride it . now if you look you will see that I have kept the chopper right down to the pedles now I did no welding I put new tires 20 inch I used 2 trojan batteries the are reconditioned the motor I rewired im alway looking for better idels to make it run better Im hoping to make it so that man can work on so looking to build a better speed controler thanks hippie PEACE

A more efficient speed controler will be fantastic, on our electric RC cars there is a huge difference, on my truck and my brothers truck we have different speed controls, on a 1500 miliamp battery i can drive nearly 20 min, his truck more like 12 and the last couple minutes its not zippy.

How about a speed controller form an electric scooter? I'd guess that the motor on that chair is in the 500 watt range. You can get a controller to handle that from tncscooters.com for under $40.

hi guys, ive tried lots of controllers, leeson makes good ones but pricey. and then there is the throtle issue
