Not sure if anyone is familiar with the area. Small town outside of Beaumont Texas and has a job opening I can transfer to. Year round Karting, pine trees, a drag strip, and more hunting then the communist state of Washington. If you have any knowledge of the area let me know if it's nice like I hope it is.

Anything has to be better than the clouds and rain in WA.
The best restaurant in the world might still reside in Beaumont. It's called Papadeaux. Excellent steak and seafood. Years ago I used to kill anyone in my way to it on a Tue night. All the whole lobster you can eat for a very reasonable price. When I went, it was $30.

Great food, with the best service I have ever seen in any restaurant.
Texas is nice and sunny. You won't believe how much sun you'll see compared to WA.
Grownup green vegetation might not be legal there yet like it is in WA, but you probably don't care for that, or maybe you do.

South of Beaumont there is a lake, and the ocean isn't all that far. There's wildlife refuges down that way too.
Most of the people in TX are nice, as well as friendly.

Keeping all that in mind, there's just one thing you need to remember: God hates Texas! :D

Thanks for that review. I actually live in the sun capital of Washington, a desert really, except it snows and it's cold and there are not trees. I only have a few days to make a decision so I was hoping to here something good. I wanna keep the sun too so perfect.

I put in for the job, and I'll see what happens. Wife and daughter are excited to be warmer if it happens. We have had a pretty huge temp gap here for the last few years, with 113f to - 9f. Hope I wasn't too late on deciding.
