I plan on getting some corrugated conduit to keep the wires in.

Why would i want slicks? and its called paint.

I'm thinking about bringning it into theautobody shop at school an having them do it. I'm thinking either the black and neon green or maybe something else I I can think of something I like.

I'm just about ready to test her, just waiting for an axle nut and throttle cable. I cleaned up the wiring and got some conduit and finished my clutch linkage.

Few pictures of the throttle linkage and cleaned up wiring, basically waiting on axle nut to test her out.

For throttle cable i just used a piece of $5 bike cable off ebay, its yellow so i think it works better.

Oh it definitely does! But don't use that cable for the clutch. You need much thicker cable.

Make sure you have a massive red kill button on the wheel in case something goes wrong with the throttle. You can always pop the clutch instead, but that won't stop the engine revving the bejeesus out of itself.

*EDIT*

One of those wired in series with the on/off switch, and mounted somewhere easy to reach.

Took her out for the first test run, had a few clutch related issues (slippage, it needs adjusting), and i snapped my chain right at the master link! Anyways, it needs jetting but otherwise its pretty awesome, got her up to 3rd and i was cruisin (i'd say 40 ish at 3/4 throttle or so). Only other thing i noticed was the horrible turning, it was alright when i wasnt accelerating but once u hit the gas its pretty hard to turn. I'd like to re-do the spindles and front end with a little KPI, and caster.

You have no KPI or castor? Dude, you should have heaps. On my old kart I had 5 KPI and 25 castor. It was good, but the steering was a bit heavy so I'd go with less castor. Maybe 15-20 degrees.

Congrats on the first run!

The stock chain had a master link in it also. I should get a chain breaker tho, i just figured its only 36 hp and its a pretty beefy chain (530).

You can get a clip master link or a rivet master link, neither should be a problem if installed correctly (you need to use vicegrips to put on the master link or it wont be on enough)

The rivet master link is, essentially, just another link which you peen the end over on. A clip link can be removed.

I'll be running a clip link and I'll tell you how it goes, but on the Edge forum pretty much everyone runs a clip link and there are very very few failures. Keep in mind many run over 150hp through massive off road tyres without issue.
