i got sand into a little 2 stroke once. the filter came off in the sand. sucked it alllll in, it lost a lot of compression. oops!

haha i lost mine (due to hitting it with my leg on accident) so i went to the auto parts store and got one that also slipped right on for a car for 9.81, and i went, right after i had crashed

Run a AEM dryflow filter..
I have use green and k&n filter for a while and noticed every time you use them that they don't filter alot of the dust out ... Take your hand and rub the inside of the intake after the filter and you will notice alot of really fine dust particles and that are going into your engine..

I cannot say for sure for I have only used them on cars. The guys at Pilotodyssey hate them with passion for the dune buggies.
