Just bought and wondering what brand frame is? Has differential axle.

Haul that thing out in the grass and take some real photos. Left, right, front, back and quarter views.
How long is the wheelbase?

Looks like a previous owner lengthened it at the top tube where the color goes from orange to black. 🤦‍♂️

EDIT: Looks like you need a CVT drive. I don't think a centrifugal clutch will cut it, not without a jackshaft anyway. How tall are the rear tires?

Rear tires are 16", has preditor 212 on it now, not original. Had battery box for electric start, for old motor. Former owner had been running with centrifugal clutch. $100, figured I couldn't go wrong.

Thank you, after this I was able to find SD-9 on YouTube and that's a match

It is an SD-9 only if you know for certain it originally had a 9 horsepower engine.

SD-8E • 8 horsepower (electric start) E for electric start?
SD-11 • 11 horsepower Briggs Vanguard (also electric start)

These all had the same frame, same tires but different engines and were also known as Sand Dogs (SD).
For 1992 the SD-8 was only available in black and that may have held true for its entire production run. The SD-9 and SD-11 had a red frame.

Specs for SD-8:
Briggs and Stratton engine 8 HP
Key electric start with headlight
Torque converter drive
Overall length -- 75 1/4"
Overall width -- 48 1/2"
Ground clearance -- 6 3/8"
Differential rear axle
Front tires -- 15/6.00-6"
Rear tires -- 22/11.00-8"
Shipping wt. -- 342 Lbs

No specs for the wheelbase but the overall length is listed.
Awesome deal indeed.

*Or SD-11, forgot about that one.

The Sand Dog series was similar to the Manco Dingo or even the Honda Odyssey FL250 and FL350. Poor man’s Odyssey I guess you could say of both karts

Does anyone know where I might find a rear axle sprocket, has differential axle. is 420 60 tooth, looks like has 8 bolts holding it on and about a 3" hole in middle.

Is it absolutely roached? If it's just rusty, grind it off and hit it with some rattle can enamel.
Hit up BMI Karts and Go Power Sports for a start. We have a supplier list in the FAQ section.

Take it off and post a photo just in case. Most of these defunct kart manufacturers are no longer supported in the marketplace.
In fact you are going to need the right dimensions from yours to find a replacement.

Found red paint when taking off back axle and underneath. I think sprocket needs replaced, go power sports doesn't have but gave me place to get but have to drill middle and bolt holes.

I think so too, thanks for the pic because it doesn't lie. Where were you told to get a new one? Technically speaking, nearly anything can be made to work as long as it supports the chain you're using and has the teeth count you want.

Can get sprocket at azusaparts.com, has one inch center hole and no bolt holes.
