Hello. Needs some help with a riding mower. I had replaced the drive belts om my rx 75 john deere with new ones thinking that i had stretched out the old belts by pulling alot of stuff around. But it still wont move. I had got oem belst for it and dont understand what im doing wrong any help or tips would be much appreciated. Thanks.

If I'm looking at the correct machine, there could be a number of possibilities, anything from a sheared key to a blown diff...

First thing to do is check underneath to see what is moving, then work your way through the line until you find the fault:

-disengage the deck belt & lower the cutting deck as far as possible
-raise the rear wheels off the ground by placing the rear on a stand
-start the engine & engage the drive
-now follow the path of the belts (with your eyes, not your hands) from the engine to where the power stops being transferred
