Today I had to say goodbye to my Millermatic 135. He has served his purpose well. He has a new home with a lucky guy from Craigslist.

Do you have a replacement, or is this a cash flow thing? If it's the second, I can really feel for you; it's been almost a year since my old 300 amp AC/DC Tig machine had to find a new home so I wouldn't have to....

Its a happy day now
I have been needing to have a more powerful, but portable welder. I still have my Millermatic 251 in the garage.
I timed selling my millermatic 135 for the arrival of my new millermatic 211! Its just a little heavier than the 135, but will run on 115V or 230V. It also has a better duty cycle. I have a big welding job tomorrow and this will be perfect for it!

Perfect! I did the same thing, really. I flipped my Lincoln 100 just as I bought my new 180 Dual. Gotta love the dual voltage capability!

For the record, Hobart is owned by Miller. I've been told both that there are differences between their models, and there are no differences.
I do know that Miller bought Hobart for their consumables line (welding rod, wire, etc.) and turned the old Hobart machines like the one I used to own into dinosaurs. All of the current Hobart models are based on Miller technology.
As for Hobart brand consumables? The ones I've used, I like....
