OMG! There's a guy in my neighborhood that drives a blue mustang just like that and everytime I see it I wonder to myself, WTH would buy a nasty color(or latex paint type) for a car like that!! What happened to the beautiful metallics and expensive looking colors instead of something that looks like you bought an electric paint gun used for painting houses, load it up with Glidden semi-gloss latex... It reminds me of the time I bought a beautiful 70's Mercury Capi ( nice car but looked like someone rolled it with blue house paint)..Oh, I've watched my neighbor paint his truck four different times, a different color, with a latex sprayer LOL) . I'm off to go puke now.....

I sure love blue..... But red won. :)

Went out and got a new predator 212 with the Cyber Monday deal for $95. (actually bought two) and the harbor freight I went to happened to have a hemi engine so I ended up with one hemi and one non hemi model. :)

I bought primer, I bought paint.
Decided to go with a satin candy red look, and so far I love it.

Still need a piece of metal to patch where somebody chopped up the frame, so I decided to work on the front end.

Two and a half coats of white primer and 2 coats so far of "satin Poppy red" that was readily available at HD. I love it so far. This was just a test run, I was debating another dark cherry maroon color.

Check out the pics let me know what you think!:wai:

Just picked up this mini bike for $100 cash.
It is absolutely awesome looking. Has a Montgomery ward engine, 5hp I believe. Runs! Needs work though.

If anyone could I.D this I'd appreciate it.
Looked around for model numbers or a plate and didn't see anything at first glance. Will check again in the daylight.

My collection is slowly growing.. :O

Is that a leather seat on it? How old is it?

My fist car was a 1970's Mazda, (I don't remember the exact year or model), that I bought in '82 for $100.00. The owner didn't tell me that she had painted it with white latex house paint. I took it to a drive through car wash and the paint started coming off! But of course, not all of it. It came off in strips and patches and was orange underneath! It ended up looking like a tiger with albino stripes!

Engine should fit fine after performance add-ons. I may get a small gas tank to strap on top of clearance is an issue.

And to the previous post, yes the seat was leather. And completely trashed. Im gonna try my hand at a recover if I can find one that fits right.

Been hard at work.

Got everything mocked up and mounted. Rode it around until the axle came halfway out. (forgot the cotter pin) whoops.

Anyways. She's fast. I have 18 lb valve springs and new rear bearings for it going on next.. Stole the rear axle, tire, and disk brake setup from a db30. It works great. Also have 40 series chain and just installed a #40, 48 tooth solid sprocket on the rear. Fabbed the exhaust out of Ridgid got a muffler going on soon. (not shown in video)

It's been a while but I thought i'd show y'all how it's going.

OH next are new tires and paint assuming everything runs right.
