My name is Paden and I'm building a gokart and need lots of help. So far I have a 337 cc motor. And I'm picking up a frame this coming week end. I hope I can complete it

:welcome2:
We are here to help you along with what you don't know. We can / will even give you some motivational :censored:....:lolgoku: As long as you put your mind to it and promise not to give up, we (I'll ) help you through the whole build..... Just don't give up, so you're not wasting any ones time. Or your money.....
The engine you bought, does it have a 3/4" or 1" shaft? Start a build thread when you get your frame, and then post pics of what you have. We will start from there.....:cheers2:

 yep, 337cc's..... Great score! Now you just need an intake to put a filter on. And you don't have any throttle linkages......or the governor arm for that matter. Hmmmm, I think someone made a mess of things.
With no governor arm, I'd just remove the governor assembly altogether. Your gonna have to figure out how to put an air filter on there some how, too... Where did the engine come from?

I do have the arm and linkages they are just not in the picture. My father does pressure washing so I have all kinds of parts I can get my hands on motor wise. As of now I have a small gas tank and a pull start on the engine. I'm going to see if I can rig up a key start after I get the frame and get it running

Does the flywheel have a ring gear for the starter, you'll need that if you want electric start?

My bad, chief.... I thought you were a kid, but you have kids, so.....
Hey, post a pic of the shaft side of the engine..... Unless you have the ring gear on the flywheel, electric start is to gonna cost you.....

I had the flywheel off and there are no gears in it. My dad had one laying around but it didn't fit. So I just kept the starter and starter relay
