Sorry for the late response!
I have a muffler, run between 11am-5pm for about half an hour at a time, and I don't tear up the lot. He is a sheriff, and I obey road laws as well as I can. In the neighborhood I keep it at ~20, use bike hand signals and I roll away from stops smoothly. In a nutshell, I'm not a hoon.
The deal is though (and I found this out just recently) that there is someone in a nearby neighborhood called riverlakes that likes to party, get drunk and key cars on the way back to his house. His path goes through my neighborhood and he has found a liking to scratch "
you" into cop cars. There are a LOT of law enforcement in my area, off the top of my head I can recall 4 labeled and 1 undercover cars. I don't think i said this in my first post but the officer lives in my neighborhood just a block and a half away, and all three of his cars have been damaged. I get that he's on high alert and all buuuuuttt... I dont know maybe its the angst inside me but I think its pretty unfair that because he had a bad day I can't have fun anymore.
