Hey y'all! I'm 35, have a large family, live on a farm in Southern Indiana and love to tinker. I just joined up to learn a bit more about this fun little world. I just purchased a X-Machine 125 and am working on getting her back up and running. The body is clean and rust-free...Still has the original stickers. Unfortunately, it does not run and the ignition switch is missing and the lighting wiring has been removed.

Any pointers are appreciated!

Sorry for the flame-posting, y'all! It is indeed my kart.

I purchased it for really cheap online as it did not run. I picked it up, took it home and found that the ignition switch was gone, the carb is all gummed up, the lighting system had been cut out, and the brake lines are shot.

I drained and cleaned out the tank-- loads of particulates in the bottom.

I purchased a new universal ignition switch and wired it in and it began to crank correctly, but would not fire. I found that the petcock was broken and fuel was pouring through the valve switch. I pulled it off and rigged up a temp bandaid. Turns out, after removing and inspecting the carb that everything is gummed up. I am rebuilding this week and have already purchased a replacement petcock.

I might sell this one for a profit and put the money toward a little larger one. Anyone wanna buy it?!
