have done a lot of chasing for information for brake repositioning, from lever left side to foot floor right side anyone help me,
my name is dave i am 63 years old i am disabled from birth with shortened fingers on left hand, hence the brake thing, i have a 49 cc pulse scout baotian moped.
i am married to my school yard sweetheart, we had three children but my eldest son stuart died {self inflicted} at 23 years old,
still hurts let no one tell you different ,

So, a chinese 50cc scooter... automatic I understand.

Well I'd say get a brake pedal from a Vespa with the return spring and the base plate.
here's a Vespa PX brake pedal for example (complete set costs ~30 bucks)

you can attach the brake cable to that instead of the left lever
(needs to be shortened and rerouted of course)
then all that's left to do is drill a few holes (maybe weld a bit of reinforcement)
and cut a slot to accept the pedal in the floorpan;
and you'd be good to go.

That's what I'd think is the easiest way of achieving this.
it doesn't need to be a vespa part.. any cable actuated rear brake pedal from any scooter will do of course.
Vespa was just the first that popped into my mind
