Hi everyone, I'm John and live here in the good Ole backcountry of Vermont and an old man, lol, just looking for something to do with, that has a motor, or could have. Welcome to the forum. From the picture of your back yard ( I guess that's where it was ) it looks like you have plenty of material to work with. Like Denny said, there are lots of us old geezers on here. I bought one for my Grandson 17 years ago. But his and all the others interest really picked up 5 years ago when I was 72. Now I have 4 karts and 1 mini bike. Loving it.

"Do It Yourself" has an element of amateur craftiness to it because it's not a professional or factory-made creation but often a repair and refurbish of something that came from a factory, or using whatever you can find, etc etc. to build something entirely new.

Those two buggies (man they look a century old) look like a good starting point

Same condition I got mine in. I wish so badly I could find a deal like that. Best I could find is one for free.... lol
