Hi. I just joined, looking to build something a little weird but related -- a CycleKart. We use a lot of gokart technology and parts, and you seemed like a friendly and pretty knowledgeable group, so here I am, lurking at first and soon to be seeking wisdom.
I'm a former car racer and Can-Am mechanic (Chaparral), and I'm fairly familiar with a machine shop. but I'm no welder or fabricator. I want to build a 2/3 version of this failed Indy car.
Anyway, hi.

Cycle Karts are cool! I’m about 21/2 hours north of you in Ober Indiana. You know they multiply like Tribbles right? Buy yourself a mig and learn to glue steel together. It’s easy. :welcome2: :welcome2::welcome2:

Welcome!!! 👍

I like cycle karts.

Jus make sure the rims and tires can handle the turns you will be cruising.
They can get into a "$hit hits fan" situation pretty quick. 😲 😱 😲
