my name is Alex and i have a 6yr old kid i am building a modified power wheels gokart for and figured i would start out here. i am following bigair's build but slightly different as i have to use what i have and keep it cheap.

I am running 18x9.50x8 rear tires fronts are i think a number different. (pulled off an old parts quad).

I have a 3hp techumseh motor for it(old one) wanted to use the one like bigair because it is so much smaller and compact but dont have one handy and cannot afford the cost of a new motor right now.

so here are some of the pics i have of it right now.

i have some questions regarding gearing and clutch setup to use.

Welcome to the forum; instead of clogging up this thread, start a new thread in the general discussion section with your questions on gearing, etc & we'll answer any questions you have...
