Been looking over the information here for a day now. Good site. When I was a kid my cousins had gokarts. One was one they bought, the other was an old one my uncle made when he was a kid. The one he made was slow, but the idea of building your own always intrigued me. Now I work on a new schedule at work, work 3 days, 12 hours each, then have 4 days off. I need some things to do on those 4 days.
I would be a complete begininer on this in many ways. I'm not mechanical, or good at building things. But I've got good friends and family who are expert weilders and mechanics who can help me along. This would be something that I could learn on and once I understand it, I've got a 5 almost 6 year old son, who would love to ride, um drive his own gokart so it would be nice bonding time once I figure all this out.
