I really need help with an electric scooter i have.

It has lay around my shed for a while now and i have decided to have an attemp at fixing it for the summer. One problem, i dont have a clue what parts i need just to get it running and rideable. If i had the parts i would easily be able to fix it in no time but i do not know what parts i need.

I do know i have...

The bike with motor linked by rubber chain drive to wheel.
2 12v Batteries that have no charge (must buy a charger)

Any help as to what parts i need to get her running would be much appreciated.

Also, Yes i know she needs cleaned XD!

Also the handlebars seem to fold over  and the bolt that i think you use to secure the handlebars seems to be a bit worn or some idiotic person seems to have forced on the wrong size nut. Any ideas how to fix this also?

Charge the battery...thats all it should need theres really nothing to electric motors, it shouldnt be fried...and if it is its junk, rewiring the armature isnt worth it. Also its not called a rubber chain, its called notched belts

I like the term rubber chain! For your messed up threads on that bolt, find what is called a bolt tap. It has to be a smaller one and it cuts new threads into that messed up bolt!
