Road Hazard
I am planning my first electric project and I need some help. I typically focus on gasoline engines, so my knowledge about electric motors and wiring is lacking.
Here's what I'm thinking. A small minibike with a powerful enough motor to have fun sneaking around the woods at around 25mph. I also want to have a good amount of run time on a single charge. And I would like to have a simple wiring setup if possible.
I am thinking about converting an alternator into a motor, but I am not sure if this is the best option. I am also on a budget, so I would like to keep this as cheap as possible.
I would appreciate any advice or recommendations.
PS, I'm fine with a thumb or twist throttle. I have experience with both.
