Hello, world! As you might know (because you've never seen me here and because I'm posting this here), I'm new here and I want to build a go-kart, concretely an electrical one, I don't like contaminating. I've already reviewed the Electric Projects section including the two important motor selection sticky posts, so no need to tell me about it
.
Now, I'm going to introduce myself. As you might be able to see in my profile, I have a relatively extense knowledge of both digital and analogue electronics & programming (including embedded systems), which will certainly help me in my project (by building my own controller and even my own motor). I have a 3D printer, so I can print plastic parts, but I don't know how to weld metal parts nor have a welder, so I'd probably have to buy the frame & other important parts. At my local kart circuit they sell frames with direction and everything included, but they start at more than 1600 €, which is way too much! It'd probably be more expensive that everything else combined! So if someone knows a cheaper way of getting a frame, please tell me.
That's all, folks! Thank you in advance for your help.
