My name is Brad thank you for welcoming me to your group. I recently acquired a vintage BKS Ground Hawg Go Kart and am very excited to be able to restore it for my grandsons. If you by chance have any information/advice about this particular go kart like when made where made how many made it does have a small metal tag with a 6-digit number on it the mechanics of the kart are plain worn out all shafts, bearings, sprockets chain, spindles.
GOD Bless You All

Hi Brad, welcome to the forum. There have been several BKS karts on the forum over the years and they are quite popular.

If you hadn’t told me it was a BKS I would not have guessed. Never seen a frame like that, that appears to have had roll cage tubes starting from the front, but I am no expert on the brand… I would like to see more pics plus the tag you found. Bonus points if it has stickers/decals.

Welcome to the site! These BKS karts are very stout and tough looking. Should turn out to be a fun rewarding project. Would be cool if you find an original roll cage, looks beefy like the frame, or fabricate one up if you can. :cheers2:
