What are the biggest split rims you know of?Once you go tubed, you can utilize split rims which make tire servicing easy peasy. You don’t need a tire machine or brute force and lots of swearing like you do with tubeless tires, just unbolt the halves.
Tubes also allow you to run horribly bad tubeless tires past their “expiration date” because the integrity of the tire, its ability to hold air, is no longer dependent upon the tire carcass itself. Tires, even lawnmower tires, are expensive these days… Tubes are easy to patch…

Is it just not a common thing on karts that have rims larger than 6ish inches? Id be really interested in some 10-12x10-12" split rims.On dump trucks
Bummer. I have a big pet peeve about sticker ID tags but anyway, more photos would help in determining the kart's ID but that can wait.Yeah, sticker is there but all of the details appear worn off.

Thanks Hellion. I’ll go over to the go kart area and start a thread there. Hope to get more pictures this weekend.Bummer. I have a big pet peeve about sticker ID tags but anyway, more photos would help in determining the kart's ID but that can wait.
Split rims are more common that you guys think; tons and tons of go karts were manufactured with them, probably to make it easier for Dad and the boys to keep fresh tires on the kart. Cast six-spoke "Manco style" split rims in 8" size were common as front wheels for the Dingo.
How about 10" rims? These are the only ones that immediately came to mind

Yes, thats the size that is on it currently.$23.99 per tire, that seems like a really good deal.
You did confirm 145/70x6" are your actual tires and not just going off of what I told you? Just want to make sure.
