I just finished a "cooler chopper" trike. The seat is a cooler. I needed something to tote my butt around at bike rallies and parties. Pictures will come soon, but I need a way to add a headlight to it.
Much of it's intended use will be during evening hours (after dark). I am using a 6.5hp HF clone engine. Does this thing have a generator or a way to make a generator? Might it have empty coil winding posts? In the dirt bike world, we add more windings and/or more coils to the stator for a lighting circuit. Or will I have to run the lights off a battery and then charge it between runs? Another thought I had was to use a GM alternator powered by the engine, but I feel that it's way overkill.
Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.
