Perhaps a simple solution like this would help also:



MIght have to put a bend in it to clear tire and add Ackermann geometry. Something else to play with.

I get it....build an extension for the current arm. I have everthing I need to try that including cold steel, drill press, and an angle grinder! Great way to confirm whether extra leverage is all we need to ease the steering effort. This is a DIY project for the grandkid and me, after all.....and it's not a track-bound racing kart. Thank you!
