I just picked these up and Harbor Freight and I wish I bought them years ago. Seriously. I do alot of projects from car audio to off-grid that require 4ga and larger, twisted copper strand power cable. I have used some straight up janky methods to cut these wires and have never been happy with the results.
These were less than $20 and one of the best investments I've made thru Harbor Freight. I would NOT suggest you try to cut steel cable with these, I use a abrasive cut off discs for those and it comes out pretty clean.
I tested this out on a spare length of 1/0 wire I have in preparation for the toy hauler inverter project and it cut so clean. Add these to your arsenal ASAP!
