GY6 Replacement

If I want to replace a GY6 motor in a Chinese kart (Challenger 200EX) with a 400cc motor without flipping the axel then I will need a motor that turns the shaft in a counter clockwise direction, correct? Will a 40 series torque converter then fit?

Yes, but you’re not going to find a reverse rotation engine. A simple jackshaft would be a better solution.
