Gx160

I have built a go cart out of a old 2 seater frame and a gx160 honda engine for my son. I bought a cent. clutch and welded a new base under the frame. The engine has a manual adjustment for the throttle(sorry no pics). What do I need to do to hook up the throttle cable? Is there any special parts or do i just need to loosen the throttle lever pivot nut,attach a spring and then the throttle cable?

the gx160 is similiar to tylers clone. is the governor on or off? if its off or your planning on it here is some pics

How much tourque and speed will I get out of this cart?

um with some good gearing (i dont know which. still need to learn about that) you can get up to 30 is my guess. but with a torque converter up to 40 or iv even heard 50 miles per hour

also if you look at tylers throttle linkage thread i have pics of how my throttle is hooked up.

if you want super torque with a cent clutch your not going to go fast. usually people find a medium that adjusted for what and where there going to be using said item
