Grandpa's crazy trike

My grandpa built this a few years ago he took an old subaru engine an using sandrail conversion plates to mate it to a vw bug transmission. Then he took his wrecked motorcycle (uncle wrecked it) and built this insane trike! Where ever he goes when he parks it gets crowds looking at it wondering what the heck it is.

If we can get you to stop taking vertical video, you might reach pro level some day.

Cool trike! There's one that I saw frequently this past summer here in Lincoln, that was built with a VW engine. Custom bikes/trikes are some of the best looking out there, in my opinion.

Oh it's old, I didn't know. I wanna hear it run, man!

A friend of mine had one that he was keeping for another friend in his shed. It had a fiberglass body that was painted in red metal flake, and the passenger seat in the back was on a higher level. I forget what the front end and forks were from but it was probably a Japanese bike.

Totally odd vehicle to me, and it had the Volkswagen gear shifter right between your legs, clutch pedal on the left and brake on the right. Try as I might, I was unable to slip the clutch smoothly enough to stop it from popping wheelies. It needed a wheelie bar bad.

I once saw a group of guys swap a front wheel drive Chevy v8 into a trike. People are going nuts when building these things.
