Had both idling tonight ...Both need carb rebuilds ...the faded one (with a big bore kit 199cc ) needs a drive gear /drive gear sprocket and chain . Both can use tires or a tube
The rest of the problems seem to be cosmetic at worst

Drove the 150 cc one tonight after a carb cleaning and I have to say this thing is a Cadillac compared to what we've been riding. For $250(my buddy threw in) I am super stoked.

I just flipped a Crossfire 150R. Had to replace the final drive and it was pricey. $100! If yours isn't an "R" (reverse) the shaft won't be much.
BTW, I just sold it for $1000, so, nice find!

Sorry for delayed response ( forgot I posted here) I'm keeping the nice one for myself
Within first two hours of riding the Piston let go at the wrist pin and tore my motor apart have since replaced with a new motor and I must say minus the low top end speed I'm quite happy with the buggy a whole.
The second not-so-clean buggy we have had a hard time getting it to do anything but idle new carb, new electrics and still wants to bog down when you go any amount of throttle . Recently however we have managed to get it to go around the yard under its own power probably with about a 15 mile per hour speed Max the motor just does not seem like it wants to go full throttle.

Keeping the nice one (see above post) for the time being it is just to much fun to drive to even consider letting it go.
