It seems kinda expensive since a HF predator 212 cc is like $130 ish. Really depends on exactly what you wanna do with it.

Yes, the predator is gas. Is there any reason for wanting to go electric? It is going to be much more expensive than going the gas route.

spypossum, the guys here on this forum could give you great advice about building/modding your own kart, but you'll find most everyone here is into gas powered engines. PS: that winch motor looks like It'd be awesome on a kart, but the sellers warning about 'dont operate without a load' tells me It might not be the best choice for your build. It also doesnt seem to have any type of cooling vents, so heat build-up issues might be a potential problem to consider too...
