Why do you say, buy inner tubes with L shape valve stems. And do not get the straight valve stems?Replace, do not patch, the innertube. Look for sharp things embedded in the tire itself (that punctured the tube inside of it). Absolutely do not buy an innertube with a straight valve stem, use only innertubes with L-shaped (aka "bent stems) valve stems.

Average gokart wheels are small, and a bit deep-dish. A 2" long valve stem that's already deep inside the dish of the rim and pointing straight at the opposite side of the rim, with the axle stub protruding in the center, can be extremely difficult to get your hand in and an air hose on it, and more so yet to get it pulled off (the kind of inflator that snaps on tight) fast enough to not reduce the pressure you just put in the tube. L-shaped stems are pointing straight out at you, could not be easier to get on/off of it. Costs the same, whichever type stem.
Welcome to diy! When/if you can afford it, and if the rest of the kart is worth it, I would upgrade all the way around to nice wheels. It would probably work even with the gouges, I say try it and see how it runs!Today I pulled off a Funder frt tire and could only remove with great difficulty the hub from the tire because it was lacking (driver damage) that white plastic ring. This resulted in gouges to that gray plastic hub so not sure tire rim seating is crucial given its inner tube. I'm resolved to replace the frt tires with something that has built in bearings but the threadless 3/4" spindles are limiting. As someone already said, these Funder Wheels Go-Karts were built on the cheap to be disposable.

yes. I have the bearings. the issue is with the damaged wheel where this white plastic retainer is gone. with the new inner tube at 15 lbs, I can see it since the tire seat has nothing to rest upon, although the wheel assembly seems relatively stable. we'll see. as a substitute I'll buy new metal hubbed wheels plus bearings for a handtruck.I’m not sure but it looks like this hub accepts bearings. but now that I’m looking at a close up it looks like the hole is to big and bearings would just fall in the hub. so Not sure now.View attachment 137447
