I've been in the process upgrading my nephews Razor dune buggy to a brushless motor. My issue is, what foot throttle is needed for the setup that Ive scrounged together. The current throttle I have doesn't seem to work with the controller. I assume its not a potentiometer type even though its a 3 wire foot throttle, the controller works with the OE potentiometer.
Controller throttle signal out put is 4.6v
Throttle is supposedly looking for .5to5v
The system runs at full speed if I touch 2 of the controllers throttle out puts together.
Im fairly familiar with DC electrical and the whole brushless vs brushed thing. I have done a lot of work on my ebike and reworked the previous Razor drift cart ( upgraded to brushed 800w ) into a real go cart that the boys have thoroughly destroyed and out grown. Im trying to do this brushless without a Hall system and this controller should give me that ability, but the throttles got me stuck..
