Farmhand 85?

I have a farmhand 85 welder, I was wondering if it'll be powerful enough to do cart frames, and if not, what would be able to?

I have no idea what that is. Describe it- Stick? Mig? Have a look at the data plate- what is the output current?

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. Here is a picture of the table on the front of it. I'm pretty sure it's MIG, it's a gasless wire feed.

Below the chart it says that the settings are on the inside of the feed door... take a gander and some pics of that.

Although I would assume it will do the job.

Wish I would've noticed that, says it can penetrate 3/16 mild steel w/.035 wire on high heat, would that be enough?

yeah i dont think i have welded anything thicker than that for my whole kart except a few things. so you should be alright.

Yes, that will handle the majority of your karting needs.

sweet thanks. My uncle picked this up from an old shop he worked at that was upgrading, they were just gonna toss this even though it works great.
