I am getting the lean engine surging on my mower. Anyone know how to fix this thing.

Try adding automotive fuel injector cleaner to fuel for a possible quick fix.
If still a prob, completely disassemble carb and meticulously clean everything. Should then be ok. Make sure everything is snug and not overtightened. Check for warped mounting flange(s).

yeah see ive tried cleaning the carb 3 or 4 times, itll run ok for 30 sec then do that crap, my dad works for o'riely and ill see if he can get some samples of clesner and boosters etc clean da thing out.

Get a set of wire gauge drill bits (avoid the Chinese stuff) and a pin vice.

I hate getting political, but Washington D.C. has done this to us.
If anybody like Al Gore (or his ilk) get in power, things will only get worse. If anybody in these forums really believed that global warming is the sole creation of humans...well...we wouldn't be here. There are no 'real' controls on our stuff. Not yet.

Even if global warming is a human only thing. The horrible toxic Chinese emissions from making all the engines to replace these short lifespan "environmentally friendly" engines far outweighs any savings. Same goes for the hybrid car, emissions from battery production make overall emissions higher than a V8 pickup.
