Electric Pit War Wagon??

I am currently starting the build or a war wagon/pit cart. I need help with the motor, controllers and electronics. Cart will be custom built from 1.25" light wall round tubing, using a Go kart rear racing axle, with a 56 tooth gear, and 23" tall Golf cart tires. Torque and weight capacity are the main issues. Speed simply needs to be at least a fast pace walking speed. Another electric question is it also needs to be able to run a 12V off of the battery setup, as it will need connection point for standard 12v pieces. The controller needs to have reversed and would be nice if had a speed adjustment of some sort. I know I am asking a ton of questions, but this all new to me

Well he is my plan , please let me know what you think. I need a little help on batteries also. This is is not a speed issue, its simply the ability to be able to move something about 500 yards, 4-5 times in a day.

Looks like you have the Kelly kit listed so it should work. Get a 48 to 12v regulator for your 12v needs. Check chrome battery for batteries. Figure out your motor loading and how much time you need to determine battery size.

Here some pictures of the build so far. Chassis is made up of a modified front EZGO golf cart front axle with EZGO spindles, rear axle is a 1.25" aluminum kart axle, chassis 1.25" DOM tubing with a .134" wall thickness. Battery compartment is capable of holding (6) 50AH batteries plus control system. System will start as a 24v setup on a ME0909 motor geared solely for and to achieve a fast walking pace only. There is still some bracing to be done on the chassis, before adding the next level of tubing to it.

CArl at EVdrives was great help in deciding the electrical setup on this project. There will be some other tricks up my sleeve. Steering will be done with (2) 300b 8" throw linear actuators, brakes will be modified go kart dic brakes, and twist throttle. All this will be mounted on a hinged joystick type control. Bearing mounted, 3 way toggle switch on top tp handle steering, and it will be mounted on a bearing setup with brake master cylinder mounted on it, where when you need to stop simply push the lever forward.
