I've worn my fingers out looking for a wiring diagram for this engine. I am guessing it would be the same as a Honda 390. I have installed a second charge coil. I got a rectifier/Regulator for it. It has 4 wires. Green Ground, Red battery + side, a pink and a yellow which I am guessing goes to the coils, IE, pink to one, yellow to the other one. My guess is the factory rectifier is eliminated? I will retain the circuit breaker and fuse.
