Do You Ever Wonder What Other Members Look Like?

Sometimes when I am reading threads I wonder what other Members look like? A lot of the time I am amazed at how young and old some of you are. Like finding out there is 14 year olds that I thought were in the 40's. I find myself wondering what a member looks like just by the way they post. Am I the only one? Most of the time I am way off.

No, you are not the only one. I often wonder what people look like. You form some picture in your mind of how they look, and then when you happen to see a pic of them for some or other reason and you are usually totally wrong. I am constantly surprised at how young and knowledgeable some of the 'older' members are. We don't really have a class called 'shop' here, so metalwork is not something you learn at an early age.

I think it would be nice to have info than just the Join Date. I know you can shoe age and location if you want, but it would be nice if it were standard.

What we should do is post pictures of ourselves? What do you think? I will start off. Here is one of me? I am 34 and live in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa

i have often wondered the same thing about what people look like, however it would probably not be good idea for minors to post pictures of their-self do to internet safety.
not that i think that this site is in secure but you don't have to be a member to see posts, which in my opinion is a good thing because some people are not comfortable becoming members of sites they're not familiar with. however people abuse good website features and use them for things they were not made for. but back on the subject, i mean i have found people's avatars' on google image search!
