Safety equipment optional? How about non existent. To be the side car guy looks like it could be fun. But with shorts and bare footed. Probably omitted long pants and shoes to save on weight. Faster.

You'd think by now there'd be a sizable collection of Tuk Tuks in certain touristy areas in the USA and that you could buy one used or new.

Those bodies look safe enough; give the driver a three-point harness that keeps him planted on the seat in a roll over, it'll be fine.

Cool video. But the guy has helmet, boots, and gloves. If he eats it in the dirt, aside from a possible broken bone, he's very well protected. Pretty darn good team work between the two.

I think that is going to be a hard pass for me on both accounts. Looks fun but at my age broken bones take a long time to heal.
