I cannot get a spark to save my life. I have converted from ac to DC just so that I could isolate whether it is the stator or the CDI causing my no spark issue. I have 12.5 volts to the Cdi 12v input pin#6. Both ground pins (3&4 are grounded to the ignition switch position 2 the switch is grounded to the battery the battery is grounded to the frame the engine is grounded to the frame. Voltmeter shows 1.0 v AC coming from the trigger wire while cranking. No voltage comes out of the ignition output wire pin#2. I have a 12 pole stator and a 6 wire rectifier. This is the third CDI with no spark/no output voltage. Are there just a bunch of bad Chinese CDIs out here or what else could be the problem ?

Ill have to look at the schematics soni can't answer the wiring questions but yes! Cheap cdi's can be a no go.
Get the regular black stock ones.
The orange performance ones are hit miss as well as the adjustable ones.
I don't think you got several in a row though. Something is amiss.
