cheep wheels

hi everyone, i wanted to let you know about a problem i ran into today. i used the hubs out of two cheep wheels i bought from a local tractor supply store on my minibike. i suspect these are the same wheels being sold elsware. anyway i started the bike for the first time today, and the first time i gave it some throttle she took off quick. the second time she lundged forward and stopped. i looked down and the rear sprocket was turning but the wheel wasnt. it turns out the flanges on the hub werent welded, but only crimped on. i think these are dangerous, and the wheel could have came off the hub in a corner.--phil

i had a simlar problem with the front wheel on my trike the wheels have crap berings and the bith with the berings is just crimped on the fron wheel it got lose and was making the stering all gofy i got sumone to put a few tck welds on the ones im usin on my new bike
