I'd get that Hovercraft just for the engines!!
I've seen little boats like that with jetski engine, I don't think that one would have enough space though.

Neat stuff, I could have a lot of fun playing with that junk...
And you COULD put a PWC engine in the boat, if you're creative. The best way to DIY a PWC engine into a small boat is to source the donor hull as well as the engine, and cut out the PWC hull, from ahead of the water inlet all the way back to the transom. Then you literally graft it into the boat hull. This saves a ton of re-engineering as far as the water inlet, impeller tunnel and outlet nozzle setup are concerned. I have a fairly small boat hull kicking around that I've wanted to do this to for years, but never go around to sourcing the PWC.

toystory- i have been wanting to find a spare pwc since i saw them build a boat from one on junkyard wars. a decent power PWC plus a little johnboat would make a great little fun machine. dangerous maybe... but what kind of fun isnt?

I'm with ya- Actually, your idea of an aluminum jon boat would probably smoke the 12" fibreglass hull I have- but dang, it would look cool- I've been trying to find a pic, but the hull I have is rather Batmobile-esque!

agreed... i was mad when i stopped getting it. it comes on a channel that you have to get the TOP satellite package to get... pretty stupid.. i have to order 1000 channels of FUUTBALLL (that i will never EVER watch) to get ONE extra science channel!!!!
