Im currently building a pair of gokarts that are going to be twins. I already own two sets of hubs pretty much exactly like these:

They are american pattern, and I am having a hard time finding cheap tires and wheels for them.

I have been considering buying these wheels and tires because they are cheap, local and are a perfect match for my karts:

Do you guys think it will be worth it to modify those wheels to fit my hubs, or should I keep looking? Also, if anybody can help me find cheap wheels and tires to fit my karts, it would be much appriciated! I have been shocked to find out that wheels and tires are the most expensive part of this project.

Those hubs are for racing karts, for a fun kart just get rims with bearings built in. If your going live axle, use 4 lug hubs for the rear.

I'm confused? you two matching links? typo im guessing?
Im building two go karts. They are going to be twins, they are actually for my nephews, i don't want them fighting over the better kart all the time :p.

I already have the hubs, my cousin raced quater midgets for quite a while and gave them to me, 4 rears and 4 fronts, I would like to use them, but I may end up doing what you suggested.

Nice find! I may end up doing just that, buying some race wheels that will fit the hubs, and buying tires seperate, no matter what I do I think wheels and tires are going to put me back 300+ for the two karts.
