is a cast aluminum flywheel a good enough upgrade to the one that comes standard on a non-hemi predator 212 when going to stage 2 and removing the governor? I just want to make sure it will hold up without my back eating shrapnel.

Who manufactures it and what do they recommend as a max rpm? It's kind of hard questions to answer not knowing anything other than it is aluminum.

Do you not read? It states right there tested to 8500 rpm. From what I can see
I don't think it will fit your engine. If I go to a website like Go power sports, or
OMB warehouse where they have a large selection of flywheels you will see that there are different part #'s for hemi, non hemi , and clone engines, which is what the one you are looking at is specified for. If I were you I would check with them to make sure before I sent them any money.

Well it does say it will fit non hemi clone in the description. But I would call and ask before ordering. All the different engines listed have different tapers on the shafts. I would hate to speculate. They say it will take the rpm though.
