Hi guys I just signed up to the forum this is my very first message. I have been looking through the forum for a few weeks and have always wanted to build my own kart so I thought the only way forward was to sign up and get down to buissness. My name is Dave and I'm 22 live in Nottingham in the UK and I'm a fabricator welder trained from apprentice at 16. I love my job and really enjoy metalwork I couldn't imagine doing anything else. I am buildng my kart at work but doing bits and bobs at home. And suggestions and tips are more than welcome and I will post progress as it comes . I've been thinking of a full roll cage full suspension off road kart but I will try to make everything by hand even forging the springs for the struts
. I haven't really got a plan or drawings km just working from photos so as said before any hints and tips are always appretiated. Thanks very much and please await the project.

Well....it's always helpful when a bloke has pictures HINT HINT.......What are we supposed to do ......start suggesting laundry detergents and tea recommendations?

Hi guys sorry for not having pictures. I'm going for a grandaddy with one seat like an arachnid with a roll cage I think lool. But with slight changes I've been looking at these for help (apologies in advance if I upset someone by using their photos)................ Well apparently my phone doesn't like attachments anymore or copy and paste... If I had a white I would be waving it

Alrighty guys I figured it out now look. So I'm wanting a full roll cage full suspension kart with one seat the old box section panel is what I'm using as material as it was free I'm undecided about whether to incorporate the mesh as a windsheild . obveiously it wouldn't shield much wind but it might look good hahah.
