Bearings go boom?

Hey, my front bearings on the tire are flanged not ball bearings, my instructor informed me that the flanged bearings would heat up insanely fast then seize then throw me over the handle bars. That is something that I would not want to happen. So Princess auto has low speed tires with ball bearings and I was wondering how low is low speed? Im not intending to go over 20km.

Well, low speed might work -- but low speed might also mean that they're made for hand karts / dollies. Check what speed they're rated at.

I think robert has the right idea. But 20 KM isnt that fast, i would take a guess and think your good.
