anyone upgraded a razor dune buggy

Just curious if anyone has modified one with pedals instead of the hand controls... hopefully in a few months I want to get my daughter her own gokart (maybe for BDay) and I can find used razor buggies for about $100... Seems like a good deal instead of some of the beat up gokarts I see online...

I just dont really like the hand controls...
And once she gets good on it I can simply swap out the motor for something a bit larger...

$100 sound like a fair price,
but make sure the batteries are okay and the charger is working etc.
otherwise you need to spend another $100 to get it running again.

I think the razor is too short for pedals, but I don't know for sure;
but my best guess is: it's merely impossible to push a pedal comfortably sitting in it, even if you're small.
So gas-maybe, but keep the brake on the steering (this isn't exactly a) wheel

FYI, Razor makes a drifter and an buggy... I saw the drifter and its definitely to small, but the buggy might be doable...

I know, but I don't think the buggy is that much longer.
Although I've not seen a picture with a kid in yet.

But judging by the pictures of kids riding the drifter...
if the buggy less than 15" longer than the drifter it's still too small to have pedals I assume

with determination, hard work, a welder, and some stubbornness anything is possible

lucky for me Ive got all of those things

and my daughter is only 4, so plenty of room still...
once i see one in person, Ill get a better idea, thinking I might be able to flatten the front ramp down for pedal space... who knows, it will at least be fun to try..
