Since it been cold out i figured i cant work on my bike in an ice cube so i"ve just been jammin out on my guitars.... and trying my hand at building cigarbox guitars.... Ill get some pics up soon.. They are really fun to build and play..

actually they have been around since the mid 1800's just after cigars started to be shipped in individual boxes and not just in crates.

Alot of the real oldschool blues guys had no money so that leaves you with only a choice of building your own guitar or just listening to everyone else! lol... So yeah at one time it was a case of someone wanting a guitar real bad. Muddy Waters for instance, he never played a "real" guitar just cigarbox guitars...

We all seem to turn junk into amazing things here and i figure why not make mention of this to some other people and spark some interest or ideas.
