Hi everyone, I am starting a remodel on an old go cart, so I though I would actually register and start posting.
I am converting a 1 wheel drive cart into a solid axle, keeping the compression band brake. I cut the old stub axles off, and I was going to start playing with bearing and hub spacing before I weld the bearing blocks in place, and I ran into an issue. Has anyone used Northern tool axles and bearings? I can't get the 1 inch bearings more than about 1/4 inch down the 1 inch shaft. I don't want to beat on it too hard before I got some advice from other people.
Thanks!,
James.
