Just joined the group - I am kinda of a small engine junkie. I cant pass up a horizontal shaft engine. Now most vertical shaft engines are very likely to be shot while running.

Here in FL alot of people throw away mowers - most just need to be cleaned up to work. The Toro in the video was thrown away by my next door neighbor. After cleaning the carb and a new condenser she ran fine. The self propelled stuff didnt work so it was a pig to use as a push mower. That left only one choice - BANG
Thank god for all the discarded mowers - I have used many to cut my yard over the years. Just recently bought my very first new from the store mower - a Snapper.
