I'm a would-be mechanical engineer without the necessary math knowledge. I do, however, have a decent sense of mechanical design and have gut feelings about design soundness.
My current obsession is a design for a tadpole trike HPV with some innovative ideas for improvements in the state of the art. Were I a true engineer, with sufficient funds for development, I'd take this baby to production and light the HPV world afire.
Of course, when I say "HPV", I include hybrid electric or gas karts. The main thing is I want to make vehicles that are at least supplemented by sweat-power.
I hope to find folks with some expertise in practical design and are able to think outside the box, to destroy my ideas should they be rotten.
