i love this type of stuff, but who knows if theyll ever make it and get a speed run. Very interesting tho...

A car that's obviously "designed" by a pubertarian that likes Lamborghini,
(basically just a lamborghini with crappy spoilers)

patched with the Logo that's derived from Lamborghini's COA and the alienware signage.
And to give it away it's called alieno (the italian word for alien)
labelled with a font that I swear I've seen elsewhere as well.
it's copy pasted together to look "awesome" to small weewee teenagers.

and a website that's exactly AS terrible as the rest.

Oh let's not forget the numbers... 5 thousand horses and what 500km/h?

There is no car, no solid design, not even a good understanding of what building and designing a car really means.

There will never be a prototype body displayed on any carshow on any planet in this milky way;
I can practically guarantee you that right here.

I must admit (since he got help back 14 years ago) that Kibertron website is even better than the Alienohypercar crap...

...a doctored up Lambogini

5,000Hp / 24 small motors (supposedly 6 motors per wheel)
...that would be ~1,250 HP per wheel
...or ~210 HP per motor

(at least there is a real world prototype, with whoknows what engine installed [certainly NOT 5k horses])


that stinky 20% throttle video is lame to say the least,
that kind of acceleration you get from a ~300hp car at 20% throttle as well,
so other than a grumble that to me sounds like a V8 rather than a V16 there's nothing to it.

IYAM that sounds very much like an AMG V8 with aboutish 6liters..
exhaled through whats likely an empty drainage pipe
guessing less than 700 horses tbh.

Anyways.. a 5000 horse car is not difficult ...
get a jet engine and you're done..

The problem is in "what's the point"!?

Let's quickly assume you go at 300mph on a public road (some desert highway in Dubai if you like)

you move at 135 meters per second (3 seconds for a quarter mile if that's numbers you're more familiar with )

let's say you MUST stop for a cow, other car, cyclist or person on the road
(even the most deserted roads are not necessarily empty, are they?)

Now.. a fast car (200km/h 125mph) can stop within 260 meters (emergency braking)
a supercar (300km/h 186mph) needs 540 meters under the same conditions
The Bugatti Veyron can do that from 400km/h (248 mph) with it's ceramic racing brakes.
(and you can do that ONCE per set of tyres!)
Adding another hundred though would again double that stopping distance even for him.

Again, in case of an emergency you can stop within ONE kilometer (~5/8 of a mile)... great!
as effective as going flintstone style in a Gremlin to stop.

And that ONLY if we assume there IS any tyre manufacturer that's keen enough to produce tyres that hold up to that speed in the first place (DOUBT IT!);
tyres knead, that heats them up.. at those kinds of rotational speed your tyre is
likely closer to jelly than rubber, which means if you hit the brakes it'll wear within milliseconds down to the bare rim.
Also .. very promising ... especially when braking or steering or doing anything but praying

A Veyron (1200 horses 431km/h) eats away all it's carried fuel within 12 minutes.
say five times the power require just five times the fuel...
2.5 minutes and the car needs a gas station...
NOW.. in order to reach 400km/h the bugatti takes 50 seconds..
say the DEVEL can reach it's top speed in the same amount of time (DOUBT IT)
that means a minute and a half left ... *sigh*

Sure one can pat oneself on the back and claim to have the fastest car on planet "flat",
but it's like building a car from pure platinum, certainly doable, just utterly pointless.

So yeah, less vaporware than that idiotic bulgarian brainfart,
I'm not sure a 5000horse engine will last very long (mile-wise)
but that shouldn't concern anyone paying two million for a car, would it..

So you need a perfectly straight 50 mile long private strip of road in order to make any use of that horsepower.
Again: doable but not practical

In more legit news, Formula E is pretty interesting. Its like a cross between F1 and bumper cars. Not sure how long it will last, but i think there is a market for F1's little brother. Maybe those driving classes would be affordable. I would love to have one of the Veloce go karts.

I wish Formula Zero took off. I'd say that supposed electric car looks like a Lamborghini Reventon and Aventador.

In more legit news, Formula E is pretty interesting. Its like a cross between F1 and bumper cars. Not sure how long it will last, but i think there is a market for F1's little brother. Maybe those driving classes would be affordable. I would love to have one of the Veloce go karts.

in fact it's really boring,
it's like watching a slot car race.

Instead of formula one's swarm of angry hornets,
you hear a semi-dead fly on the floor.
And no matter how I like a dead silent car speeding around in real life,
that just doesn't convey speed or thrill of any kind over the TV screen.

I forced me to watch two or three races (depending if you count the one I stumbled upon by accident)

And it's just terrible to watch on tv (I think live it'd be at least somewhat more interesting)
Somewhat awkward looking cars (skinny wheels and fenders)
whizz around silently around a more or less narrow track exactly like slot cars.

And if they wouldn't swap the car in the middle of the race (dead batpack) absolutely nothing happens,
no accidental under/oversteering in corners, no "driver errors" at all,
frankly I couldn't even remeber seeing any take over or such.
Tha cars look computer controlled, if you know what I mean

IDK I'd love to see them on the green heII (Nürburgring-banned track)
maybe that would reinitialize some thrill
Since I guess that would help tremendously to make it a success
